The Investment Composer I am a Technical Analyst at heart with a deep obsession for understanding the "why" behind market moves. I see technical analysis as the footprint of fundamental and economic forces, and my goal is to decode those prints to anticipate where the herd is moving next. To stay ahead, I keep a tight loop with fund managers, analysts, and institutional leaders, constantly filtering the noise of news and research into actionable tactical asset allocation. In my current role as an Investment Composer, I manage a multi-trillion rupiah portfolio, overseeing 13 Unit Link funds (more to come), including USD and SGD global funds. I’m particularly proud that in 2025, the IDR Equity Fund I fully manage outperformed the traditional active flagship, helping stabilize and grow our total AUM from IDR 3.0T to 3.1T. Beyond the numbers, I act as a bridge for the organization, translating market themes into strategies for a network of 400 Wealth Managers and Financial Analysts. Since 2019, I’ve been evolving my toolkit by diving into Data Science. Most nights, you’ll find me in my "lab" (converting R code to Python in Positron) refining time series models to forecast stock and bond prices. I’m a firm believer that the intersection of traditional technical expertise and machine learning is where the most significant market edges are found. I am an investment professional defined by "Strategic Depth," combining a Scorpio Sun’s relentless pursuit of market truths with a Pisces Rising’s intuitive leadership. I don't just follow narratives; I use advanced quantitative analysis to uncover the philosophical and data-driven core of every asset, ensuring my strategies are built on conviction rather than consensus. As an Enneagram Type 6 (Loyalist), my priority is institutional resilience. I practice "Strategic Prudence" by building robust contingency plans into every portfolio, utilizing my technical expertise to guard against volatility. My commitment is to provide the stable, high-conviction leadership necessary to protect and grow policyholder wealth in a complex global market. Outside the charts, my world revolves around my two kids. To keep my own balance, I’ve recently taken up golf (and am enjoying the challenge tremendously!). Whether I’m teaching the next generation of investors through my writing or studying code, I’m always looking for that deeper philosophical truth in the numbers—aiming for a life that is Sehat, Kaya, dan Bahagia (SK Bahagia, the slogan of T.R.A.I.L Investment).
